McKenzie’s Doodles tries to stay competitive in our pricing without price gouging! We are not the highest priced out there, neither are we the lowest. We refused to take advantage of the puppy frenzy that happened during COVID and kept our prices the same. We have just now gone up on a couple of the breeds that have been pending for a number of years just to be close to the other breeders out there that are still reasonably priced. We have had a great reputation for breeding great pups for almost 20 years and that comes with a price.

$350 deposit (goes toward the final puppy price)

Deposits are transferrable between litters but are not refundable.

Deposits

There is a $350 NON REFUNDABLE deposit to hold a puppy. We take deposits on upcoming litters, and customers with deposits get priority in the selection process on a first-in first-out basis. When making a deposit, it is important to know that while we try very hard to meet our customers' selection choices, we cannot guarantee the sex and color of your choosing will always be available. We DO guarantee a healthy, well-adjusted puppy that will provide many years of happiness, loyalty, and companionship.

We do allow transfers from one litter to another. We reserve the right to refuse to sell a puppy and we always have the right of first pick of any litter.

We've had a lot of customers tell us they don't want to be the last on the waiting list for fear that the last puppy might not be as good as the other puppies in the litter. Of course you may always select a later litter when making your deposit to get a higher spot on the list, and we recommend that you do this if you have very specific requirements, but we also want people to remember that all puppies in a litter are normally very similar. Any given puppy could be the last one chosen in any given litter. It might be that people want a certain sex or a certain color or a certain size, and the last one chosen didn't happen to meet the previous selectors' criteria. Last does not mean least where puppies are concerned! Kenneling Fees

We make every attempt to be as accommodating to our customers' needs as possible, and will keep your puppy for a period beyond the normal pickup date, if the need arises. There is a $30/day kenneling fee for every day after the pups are available to be picked up. This is below the competitive rate for a boarding service in the area.

 

Shipping

We no longer ship due to the dangers that have increased for the pup and how stressful it can be for them.

We always prefer that you make arrangements to come here to pick out and pick up your puppy. If this is not possible we are open to meeting a pet nanny that you have chosen and that has communicated with us as to timing. We will not meet them at all hours of the day or night but will consider meeting at our airport from mid morning to late afternoon. Arrangements must be made by you and we must be kept in the loop to make sure we can do it.

We also have a ground transporter who might be available to deliver your pup to your home. This is dependent upon his schedule and ours and is usually done within the week after take home.

Both of these options are open to delays and inconvenient timing due to the nature of the job. If you are coming for a distance you might want to consider the option of flying with your pup back under your seat in your cabin. Please discuss your plans with us so we can make it happen if it is possible.
