Roy “Red” is our AKC-registered dark Golden Retriever, lovingly nicknamed for his stunning 8/10 red-intensity coat, a rare shade for the breed. He’s a classic Golden Retriever through and through – happy, social, and full of heart. Red has a sunny personality and a gentle spirit, and he’s never met a person he didn’t love. He enjoys everything that involves people, from visits to the vet and grooming appointments to soaking up belly rubs and attention. He weighs 61 pounds and loves playing fetch, going on walks, and curling up on the couch. Raised alongside toddlers and other dogs, Red is patient, affectionate, and a true family companion.
